ABOUT
Indonesia is a young and archipelagic country with immense potential. With the 4th largest population and 16th largest economy, as well as a young and growing demographic, Indonesia has the ingredients for a prosperous future. However, to unlock this potential, there are many problems that need to be addressed.

The Achmad Zaky Foundation was founded by Achmad Zaky, the founder of Bukalapak, with the goal of helping to solve these problems, particularly in the areas of education quality and entrepreneurship development, through impact investment.

Our foundation provides grants to social projects, particularly in the field of education, and scholarships to underprivileged students. We also provide investment and financing to social enterprises to help scale their impact. By supporting these initiatives, we aim to create a more equitable and prosperous future for Indonesia.

Co-Founder and Board Member
He has a Computer Science Bachelor's degree from ITB and a Master's degree in Innovation and entrepreneurship from HEC Paris. He founded Bukalapak in 2010, grew it into a unicorn, and brought it into the biggest tech IPO ever in Indonesia. Currently, he invests in many fast-growing startups.
